SUMMARY:Tour De Whatcom
DESCRIPTION:The 2016 Tour de Whatcom is scheduled for Saturday\, July 16th\, and will be the 11th annual running of this event. This ride (not a "race")\, is considered to be the Northwest's Most Beautiful Ride\, as the routes are truly awesome You get to see everything: Mt Baker\, Lake Whatcom\, valleys\, rivers\, lush farmland\, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride. \n\nBeginning in 2014\, the start/finish line for the Tour was moved to Railroad Ave in the heart of downtown Bellingham\, in front of Boundary Bay Brewery. The location change turned out to be a great success\, as there are several activities for riders to partake in: Bellingham Farmer's Market\, local cafes\, shopping\, as well as the outside patio at Boundary Bay reserved for riders upon completion of their route.
