Groovin' for Good

Work Opportunities is proud to present Groovin’ and Grubbin’ for Good - Please join us August 25th and August 26th for a two-part fundraising extravaganza! Work Opportunities is a non-profit organization operating in King, Snohomish, and Whatcom Counties. It is our mission to promote self-determination, self-respect, and valued participation in the community for persons with disabilities through work. We have proudly been providing vocational exploration, job search, and job coaching services to individuals with disabilities for over 50 years. We believe a strong community is one which embraces a diverse workforce. Please join us in celebrating employment for all! Groovin’ for Good will take place on Friday, August 25th from 6-9 PM at BAAY! Theater (1059 N. State St., Bellingham, WA, 98225). This fabulous night of salsa dancing will include Latin music with live DJ Antonio Diaz, dance instructions provided by Rumba Northwest, and the opportunity to enter a drawing to win tons of local swag. Put on your dancing shoes and come boogie with us – all ages are welcome, and no experience is necessary! Tickets are $12 at the door for general admission and $10 for Work Opportunities clients. Grubbin’ for Good will take place on Saturday, August 26th at Café Rumba (1140 N State St., Bellingham, WA, 98225). Come grab some grub and prize drawing tickets. 30% of all restaurant sales will go to support our mission. The prize drawing will be held at 6 PM (need not be present to win).
