Pruning and Seasonal Care of Roses

Get a head-start on having gorgeous roses this year by signing up for our free on-line pruning demonstration by John Christianson of Christianson’s Nursery in Mount Vernon. Following the pruning demonstration will be a time to ask questions you have about rose pruning. John is well-known in the area for his expertise and enthusiasm for sharing his gardening knowledge - including old and English roses. He is a Master Gardener and Certified Nurseryman, he has a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and he and his wife have owned their nursery for over 20 years. This gardening event is sponsored by the Master Gardener Foundation of Whatcom County and the WSU Whatcom Master Gardener Program to provide research-based gardening knowledge to the community.
